A passenger railroad, which operates only for traffic peaks, has much lower ridership than a memory schedule operation. This is true even for the peak hours, because no flexibility is provided to the customer. Nonetheless, any transit operation has to accomodate morning and afternoon peaks. On this picture, the Eurobahn has attached a second unit for the afternoon.
