Normal stop time for Intercity trains at Hamburg Hbf is 3 minutes. Boarding isn't level, but easy. While reservation isn't required, the issued seat reservations carry car number and seat number. Information about the car's location relative to the platform is provided in a graphical chart on the platform. After central unlocking, all doors along the train are operated by the passengers.
